The grand finale of the Better Kitchen Bakery Champion (BKBC) was successfully held at DY Patil University's School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies, Navi Mumbai, bringing together some of the finest budding bakers from across the country. Recognised as a national-level competition for hospitality management students, the initiative aims to identify, nurture, and promote young talent in the field of bakery and patisserie.

The semi-final rounds were conducted across 19 cities in India, and the winners from these rounds qualified to participate in the grand finale. The finalists demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical precision, and a strong understanding of modern baking techniques, reflecting the growing standards of bakery education in the country.

The winners of the Better Kitchen Bakery Champion Grand Finale were Tisha Nair, Indian School of Hospitality – Gurugram Winner, Nishika Pawar, IHM – Mumbai 1st Runner-Up, and B. Divya Sree, Regency College of Culinary Arts & Hotel Management – Hyderabad 2nd Runner-Up, who impressed the judges with their innovation, consistency, and overall execution.

The Better Kitchen Bakery Champion has been conceptualised with a clear objective - to provide a dedicated platform for aspiring bakers to showcase their skills and explore career opportunities in the rapidly expanding bakery sector. With the bakery business witnessing significant growth in India, there is an increasing demand for skilled professionals who can meet evolving consumer expectations and global quality benchmarks.
